THE SPRING CHICKS is an original 20” x 16” UNFRAMED oil painting on a quality linen canvas. This incredible painting is of a flock of new chicks swimming in the water. Some of the chicks are a bright yellow. Some of them are a rusty orange color. The background water is a beautiful teal color. The dark parts of the water is a deep brown/black. The colors in the background are iridescent. So when you look at the background from afar, it’s a deep teal color. But when you get closer, the blues turn into a deep turquoise. There is a realistic feel to the whole painting, which is very pleasing. The painting comes unframed.
