NORTH CAROLINA HISTORIC LIGHTHOUSE is an original 12" x 16" Unframed oil painting on a high quality canvas panel 1/4” thick. This is a beautiful painting! It was painted plein air, meaning painted on site outdoors. We took a vacation to Corolla this summer so I could paint and my husband golf. This is one of the paintings I painted there. The lighthouse was very picturesque because of the nice warm brick colors contrasting with the clear blue sky. This is a wonderful painting that will light up any room. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
