WINTER STORM IZZY is an original 12" x 9” oil painting on a high quality canvas. This is a painting of a street corner during a blizzard. This could be any storm, but it was actually based on pictures of Winter Storm Izzy. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The painting is of deep snow piled up on the sidewalks. The snow is blowing so hard, it’s hard to see anything. The street lights glow amber and the stop lights glow red. There are a few people braving the snow, trying to get home. Izzy passed us by. There was a little heart-shaped pocket that got very little snow. We live in the little pocket. To the north and south of us, the snow was very high. This painting is a good one to own to remember winter storms.
