MORNING GLORIES is an original 11” x 14” oil painting on a high quality canvas. The painting is a beautiful rendition of morning glories. I painted these from real life. I participated in a plein air event and got there in the early morning. The morning glories were opened in full bloom. I finished painting at noon because the morning glories had closed up for the day. The blues and violets of the flowers were so vivid . This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. It will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the bright pinks, blues or whites. The painting was done in strong vivid colors with thick paint. It’s painted in the style of Vincent Van Gogh.
