EARLY MORNING WALK is an original 16”x20” oil painting on a high quality canvas panel. This is an incredible painting! It won 2nd place in the Summertime contest at the prestigious art gallery in New Harmony, Indiana. New Harmony is a famous art colony. It is a bright, colorful scene of a park in the early morning, with the sun shining through the trees. A person and a dog are walking on the trail. It’s painted in the style of Vincent Van Gogh. I was so inspired, I’ve painted several in his style since.
There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
