KITTEN IN THE SUNFLOWERS is an original 16”x12” oil painting on a high quality canvas. This is an incredible painting! It is a bright, colorful scene of a black kitten surrounded by sunflowers. It’s painted in the style of Vincent Van Gogh. I was so inspired, I’ve painted several in his style since. My kitten, Shadow, was used as the cat in the painting. This is an amazing painting that would light up any room you put it in. If you pick up the beautiful range of yellows and greens and accent them in a pillow or a blanket, it will light up the room.
There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
