ROSES AND PETUNIAS is an original 12”x16” oil painting on a high quality canvas panel. This is an incredible painting! It is a bright, colorful scene of a rose garden. It’s painted from a still life set up. there’s a photo of roses I used. The petunias are a deep red burgundy and the roses are a beautiful cream color. There are blue and yellow accent flowers at the edges to bring in some other colors to the painting. This is an amazing painting that would light up any room you put it in. If you pick up the beautiful range of pinks, rose colors and reds and accent them in a pillow or a blanket, it will light up the room.
There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
