MORNING SKY is an original 8" x 16" oil painting CANVAS PANEL. This is a special painting of the sun rising over the landscape. The sky ranges from light pink to a deep blue, as the sun begins to rise. There are rain clouds skittering over the sky, forecasting the end of the nightly rain. This painting was done from a photo a friend of mine took on her way to work. It is a typical landscape of Southern Indiana. The sky dominates the vista wherever you look. The horizon shows houses and barns outlined in a pretty rose color. This is a bright painting that will light up any room you put it in.
This painting was done on a high quality canvas panel. It is archival, which means the colors will stay strong and vibrant. The depth of the canvas is 1/4". Due to the dark undersea colors, it was hard to photograph. But, rest assured, the colors are very bright.
