THE PURPLE MILKY WAY is an original 16" x 12" Unframed oil painting panel. The painting depicts a big sky of deep blues and purples with the Milky Way putting on a bright show of stars. The ocean gives the night sky amazing depth. On the beach, there are large rocks sticking out of the sand. Some of the rocks have copper accents that light up the rocks. Since there are no nearby cities, the stars are spectacularly bright.
