LILACS IN BLOOM is an original 12" x 16" Unframed oil painting on a high quality canvas panel 1/4” thick. This is an beautiful painting! The flowers are a wonderful purple. It was painted from my own lilacs. These fragrant flowers are a staple spring flower of the Midwest. The colors of the flowers range from deep violet to light rose. The flowers are in a clear glass vase This is a wonderful painting that will light up any room. There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. It's reminiscent of a Monet flower painting. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking. You can almost smell the lilacs.
