PURPLE WILDFLOWERS is an original 20x 24" oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. This is an incredible painting! It is a bright, colorful scene of a field of purple flowers. There is a bubbling creek running down the hill. A detail of the water shows some of the rocks in the creek. IN the background, there is a bank of trees, backlit by the sun. There are misty trees in the distance. The sun is just rising over the horizon, lighting up the trees. The painting canvas is called a Gallery Wrap and the sides are 2" deep. The edges are painted and no frame is needed It will come ready to hang. One of the pictures shows the painted side.

There is an impressionistic feel to the whole painting which is very pleasing. It's reminiscent of a Monet painting. The paint is applied with bold strokes and the colors are striking.
