DANCE OF THE FIREFLIES is an original 12" x 12" oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas with wood sides. The painting is of a bank of trees at night. The sky is a deep cobalt blue, with a few clouds flying by. The blue sky is reflected into the water. The star of this painting is a row of fireflies lighting up the trees. They are like little fairy lights in the dark trees. The colors are bright and vivid. This is an impressionist painting with strong contrasts. It will enhance many color schemes. It will light up a room, especially if other objects pick up the vivid colors such as a pillow or a vase.

GALLERY WRAP CANVAS - The painting has wood sides. The depth of the canvas is 1 1/2" wide. Since it has wood sides, the painting does not need to be framed.
