Red Barn Painting, Small Oil Painting, Bright Red, Country Rustic Art

RED BARN is an original 6" x 8" oil painting on a gallery wrap canvas. It is an impressionistic picture of an actual barn from the area where I live. The barn I used for the painting is not painted red. It's a barn that's abandoned and falling apart. I wanted to paint it as it WAS, in it's bright red glory. Wood barns are fast disappearing. I just wanted to preserve one in paint. The Barn is done with heavy impasto paint, so it seems to jump off the canvas. The deep reds brighten up any room they are in. This is an impressionist painting, with many small bright accents. Lines are blurred and the accents make this the perfect little masterpiece.

One of the pictures shows the side of the gallery wrap canvas. As you can see, it is painted a black color. It is a 1" deep canvas. This a wonderful Mini Painting that would look perfect on a shelf in your office or at home. It comes unframed, and works fine sitting on a shelf.
