MAIN STREET, LEXINGTON is an original 16" x 20" UNFRAMED oil painting on a high quality canvas panel. It was painted “en Plein air’, meaning it was painted outdoors on site. It was done at the Lexington, Kentucky Paint the Town paint out. Around forty artists participated in 2019, capturing the downtown Lexington cityscape. If you look at the picture of the back of the painting, you will see the Paint the Town logo stamped on it. The painting depicts a rainy day on Main Street in Lexington. It's a one-way street, so you only see the cars coming at you. There are people walking in the rain. The car headlights pick up the rainy streets. This is a fun city scape that was painted on site, and finished in the studio.
