METOLIUS RIVER, OREGON is an original UNFRAMED 20" x 16" oil painting on a high quality linen canvas. This is a beautiful painting of the Metolius River in Oregon. This is a favorite place of my daughter’s, so she wanted me to paint the river. She makes candles (Pine and Peat Candles). She uses some of my paintings for labels on her candles. This is one she wanted to use for a river scented candle. The water is rushing down, splashing over rocks. At one point, there’s a deep pool of water, a beautiful blend of teal blues and sea foam greens. There are tall evergreen trees on either side of the river. This is a really beautiful painting, done in an impressionist style with bold, bright colors. This painting would look amazing in a room if you pick out some of the special colors and accent the room with pillows or a vase.
